Steels Corners Improvements

Project Description: Reconstruct and widen Steels Corners Road from SR 8  to the Steels Corners Road/Allen Road/Hudson Drive intersection. The project includes the reconstruction of the existing ramps at SR 8 and both Hudson Drive and Allen Road at the intersection of Steels Corners Road.

Maintenance of Traffic: A minimum of two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction on SR 8 during peak traffic periods, and one lane during non-peak periods. Reconstruction of the SR 8 ramps, the Steels Corners Road bridge over SR 8, Steels Corners Road, Hudson Drive, and Allen Road will be done with part-width construction. Access to all residences and establishments will be maintained throughout construction.
