Resurfacing Cuyahoga Falls/Stow

Map of Akron and Munroe Falls area.Project Description: Resurfacing of SR 8 from the northern Cuyahoga Falls corporation limit (Graham Road) to Akron (Howe Avenue). The project includes minor work to eleven bridges:

  • The off-ramp from SR 8 southbound to Broad Street;
  • The Portage Trail on-ramp to SR 8 southbound;
  • The off-ramp from SR 8 northbound to Portage Trail;
  • Over the Cuyahoga River;
  • The pedestrain bridge over SR 8;
  • Over Howe Avenue;
  • Over Broad Boulevard;
  • Bailey Road over SR 8; and
  • Front Street over SR 8.

Maintenance of Traffic: There will be various lane restrictions on SR 8 during non-peak traffic periods. Access to all residences and establishments will be maintained throughout construction.
